Janet Dauvin Quilt For Grandma

This lap Quilt was created with a lot of love. This quilt was made for one special Grandma and each square was designed with a memory of her from her children, grandchild or great grandchild.  Congrats Janet Dauvin, this turn out just beautiful and we were so glad to be a part of this memory.

Lynn Brady

Tree Table Runner

Such a beautiful table runner submitted by Lynn Brady as a gift for her daughter-in-law for Christmas. Love this gift idea, so much love added to your Christmas table display. Thank you Lynn for submitting this for us to see.

 Beverley Thompson

If you have been a Sew and Sews fan for awhile you will recognize the talent this lady has. As the founder of Sew and Sews she is still a huge support of out store. These here are a few of her recent projects.

Jelly Weave

This jelly roll friendly quilt was done with scraps Beverley had. Jelly Weave pattern in is available in store and online here, such a beautiful quilt.

Wildlife Flannel

This is Beverley's take on the pattern Tanya created for the Wildlife Flannel collection available in store and online here. The colors are just beautiful and this quilt looks like it would make a great gift for her favorite niece (that's me!).

An adorable table runner that Beverley created the pattern by using a 10" 60 degree ruler. She used a couple of different fabrics line we carry, Sunday Stroll and Lakeside Story. You can purchase the fabric in store and online here.

Boys On the Go Quilt

I can honestly say that I when I first took the job with Sew and Sews, I thought I was safe from buying fabric. My thoughts were that quilting was for older ladies and stay at home moms. Then this line came in and I knew I had to buy it and make something for my 3 year old son (a truck and construction equipment fanatic). Tanya reassured me that I could easily make a quilt and talked me into attempting it. I used the Sheryl pattern by Villa Rose Designs, (perfect for a first timer) and sold instore and online here, with the On the Go layer cake and fabric for this one. I went home cut my squares and a week later I was dropping it off to be long armed and I was hooked. I am so excited now to say I am a quilter. So thank you to all you quilters, who are now inspiring me to try knew things and keep learning this exciting and creative hobby. Sorry dear, you are back to being the only provider as my paycheck is going to fabric now.
